Operational indicators
SSIP declares 32 operational indicators and holds 201 readings across 28 of them. The remaining 4 are declared with nothing behind them, so that their absence is stated rather than left as an empty panel. An indicator with no reading is a gap, never a zero.
Every indicator declares a comparability group and no two indicators share one. Readings from different indicators are never combined, differenced or averaged, even where they share a unit — four figures in this catalogue are expressed in barrels per day and measure four different things, and two are expressed in South Sudanese pounds per dollar under two different currency regimes.
Freshness is judged per indicator, not against one global threshold, and measured against the 2026-09-23 build. 7 distinct currency windows are in use across the catalogue.
